The
Arms unite heritage,
service, and family
legacy. The division
between the two
charges in chief
represents a balance
between tradition
and progress,
honouring Polish
roots while
embracing American
identity. The
chevron rising from
the base symbolizes
resilience,
ambition, and the
upward path of
strength, reflecting
both challenges
overcome and the
foundation built for
future generations.
In the dexter chief,
the White Eagle on
red recalls Poland’s
national emblem,
signifying courage,
nobility, and
enduring spirit. The
red field (Gules)
further represents
valor and sacrifice,
honouring military
service and
commitment. In the
sinister chief, an
oak tree Proper on
Argent stands for
wisdom, resilience,
and generational
endurance. The white
field (Argent)
symbolizes
sincerity, peace,
and clarity of
purpose.
The base bears four
mullets Argent on
Aazure, representing
the armiger and his
three sons — guiding
lights bound by love
and duty. The blue
field (Azure)
denotes loyalty,
truth, and justice,
ideals central to
the family’s
identity and the
armiger’s service to
the nation.
The helm, a
forward-facing
tilting helm with
closed visor,
reflects nobility,
leadership, and
martial service as a
U.S. Marine Corps
officer and father.
From a torse of red
and blue rises the
crest, a torch
Argent enflamed
Proper, symbolising
vigilance,
knowledge, and
guidance. The flame
represents
transformation,
perseverance, and
strength in
adversity.
The mantling — red
and white on the
dexter, blue and
white on the
sinister —
harmonizes Polish
and American
heritage.
The motto, Virtus in
Arduis (“Courage in
Adversity”),
captures a life
defined by service,
perseverance, and
the example set for
future generations.
The arms as a whole
embody identity,
sacrifice, and
resilience, serving
as a legacy for the
Mason family.
