The Arms of Shaun Adrian Perera, LLM (Aberd)

The armiger is an in-house legal professional who resides in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He holds the Degree of Master of Laws from the University of Aberdeen (Scotland) and the Degree of Bachelor of Arts from Western Michigan University (United States). He was elected as a fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland and is a current member of the International Bar Association. The armiger is descended from a line of notable Catholic scriveners who served as chief clerks and administrators during the colonial period of British Malaya.

The Colours: Gold “Or” is interpreted to mean generosity and elevation of the mind. The Blue “Azure” means truth and loyalty. The Green “Vert” means hope, joy and love. The Black “Sable” means constancy;

The Unicorn means extreme courage; virtue and strength;

The Crest of a Pear Tree symbolises the Perera surname. The word “Perera” comes from the Spanish “Pera” meaning “Pear” which is felicity & peace;

The Embattled Lines with Erminois represents the fortress of valour, justice and dignity.

The Motto translates to Thy Will Be Done.
