                                              Plummer

McClurg Family Badge:

Raya is the daughter of Amanda Katherine McClurg (registration no. 0212) and Robert Plummer.

The ravens transfixed refer to a Scottish story in which a widow's sons by three different men performed archery to show prowess with weapons for Robert the Bruce while he was on the run from the English. The brother's names were Murdoch, McKie and McClurg. The brothers joined The Bruce's army until he became Robert I, King of Scotland.

The arms are based on the arms of Frederick Henry McClurg (registration no. 0208) and differenced in base is a cant and nod to the name Raya Grace. The rays as a cant for Raya and the number being five for the 5 letters in Grace.
