The Arms of
                                                Jean-Marie Garayburu

The armiger designed the arms specifically illustrated on a lozenge to show herself as a woman Entrepreneur; the lozenge, instead of a shield, follows the more traditional examples of heraldry for a lady.

The rationale behind the choice of tinctures is to support the armiger’s “inner warrior” and reference to her Basque ancestry. The tincture Or, was chosen to illustrate a generous and supportive attitude to those close to the armiger with the Lion Sejant being a continuation of her warrior spirit, power and discernment. The mirror has been plucked from the mermaid, chosen to represent the armiger’s intuition and a nod to the divine feminine. The counter-changing of tinctures was not only chosen to ensure that the arms are unique and do not conflict with any other Arms but to also represent balance and harmony.
