The
armiger adopted these
arms, originally with
the tinctures reversed,
in 1994. The sword
represented his law
enforcement interests
and the idea of service.
The wings represented
protection with the
sense of holiness.
Combined, the winged
sword symbolizes the
Sword of the Spirit.
This was originally
argent, surrounded by
the "blackness" of sin.
Following some major
changes in the armiger's
life in 2001 he decided
to change the tinctures.
The winged sword had
become a symbol of the
armiger surrounded by
the light of Christ. The
horse in the crest is a
canting of his first
name, Philip, which
means "lover of horses."
The motto, Beati
Pacifici, comes from the
Latin Vulgate
translation of Matthew 5
meaning "blessed are the
peacemakers."
