                                                Barger

Design: Arms devised by The Armorial Register Limited. Rendition: Ljubodrag Grujic.

The armiger chose to use tinctures of gules (red), agent (white), and azure (blue), representing his American heritage. His ancestors were among the first families to settle in New England colonies. Their descendants later served the United States of America during the American Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the American Civil War, the First World War, the Second World War, and the Korean conflict.

The armiger’s badge features a collared wolf, holding a lit torch. The wolf is one of the armiger’s favourite beasts, and symbolizes valour, guardianship, and the rewards of perseverance. The torch represents the armiger’s birthplace, while also symbolizing life, truth, and intelligence.

For the shield's charges, the shaking hands represent the armiger's relationship building through his profession of human resources. The flanking escallops represent his passion for world travel - from the east to the west. In combination with the shaking hands, it also represents the relationships he has built across the globe. The two Northern Cardinals over a chevron represent the armiger's youth when he was raised in the home of his grandparents, in his home state of Illinois (whose official state bird is the Northern Cardinal). The acorned oak sprig symbolizes strength and independence, while also representing the time spent at his alma mater, Lake Forest College, whose logo contains the same.

The crest features a sailing ship, representing the armiger's immigrant ancestors who sailed from England, Scotland, and Germany, to begin new lives for themselves and their families. The red cross on the ship's sail represents those immigrant ancestors who arrived during the Great Puritan Migration, while also representing the armiger's Christian faith.

Standard: In the hoist the arms, in the fly per fess Argent and Gules charged with the Crest between two representations of the Badge, all separated by two bends Azure with the Motto Invictus Maneo in letters Argent.
