The Arms of Anders
                                                Stävhag

The arms with a chief of a royal passant lion of the first and the colours of Azure, Sable and Gold are all symbols representing the armiger’s will of generosity and his constant and tireless work helping the needy. The passant lion passant of the arms and the rampart lion of the crest represent honour and the Azure strength, trust and loyalty.

The Maltese Cross represents the armiger’s generosity of spirit towards the needy but also the honour to the municipality Mönsterås in Sweden where he spent every summer during his childhood.

The Barry field represents the pathway followed by the armiger in his many walks through historical pilgrimages around the world.

The armiger is a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Order of the star of Oceania (Ka Hoku o Osiana e Hookanaka), Hawaii; Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Order of the Lion of Godenu, Ghana; Knight Grand Cross of Justice of The Sovereign Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem Knights of Malta; Knight of Justice and Devotion, Military order of the Collar, Royal House of Aragon, Spain. He is also elected as a member of the famous The Explorers Club. He has been awarded of several medals and decorations, including The Pilgrim Cross in gold of Honour of Pope Leo XIII medal, Jerusalem, Israel, The Saint Olav pilgrimage medal, Norway and The Swedish Red Cross Medal (SRKSM).
