The Arms of Isabel
                                              Maria Salvado Silva
                                              Pinto-Correia

The double-headed purpure lion is an allusion to the armiger's father's surname and to her zodiac sign, Gemini.

The Galero of a Roman Catholic Priest refers to the armiger’s great-grandfather, Francisco Salvado Leal, who despite being a Roman Catholic Priest produced heirs with the woman whom he loved all his life; he supported his children unconditionally while never failing his duties as a clergyman to his parishioners. His example and unwavering loyalty to his family and parishioners, in a position and time when such behaviour was heavily criticised, became a role model for the armiger.

The olive wreath in the crest alludes to the armiger's mother's village while the book to her career as a public school teacher. The book cover holds the title "Viver é lutar", "To live is to fight", her life motto.
Isabel Maria Salvado Silva Pinto Correia was born in 1958 in Lisbon, Portugal. Daughter of Fernando Augusto da Silva and Maria de Lourdes Matos Salvado.

Isabel married Jorge Maurício Pinto-Correia, with whom she has two sons: Miguel Silva Reichinger Pinto -Correia and Martim Silva Pinto-Correia. Isabel has dedicated her career to teach not only her sons but the sons and daughter of many other people specialising in deafness and early childhood development.
