The Arms of Dr
                                                Glenn Agung Hole

The arms were assumed in 2017 by Glenn Hole, Drammen, Norway and, can be borne by his descendants of the family of Hole. The right to use the coat of arms is awarded to the descendants of Glenn Agung Hole and Anastasia Solomonova Hole, in right of the descending line carrying the surname Hole, alone or in combination with another surname, or when Hole is being used as a middle name.

The arms reflect on the family's previous activities as sheep farmers for three generations, as well as the armiger’s blessing from His Holiness Pope Frans in 2017 for his ecumenical work through the Norwegian Church. The rams symbolize the family association with sheep farming for three generations and other ancient arms of the name. The two keys in the cross also represent an old tradition of locking the door of the storehouse to secure the food they had at the farm and therefore also symbolize the securing of values. In this case, they are also a metaphor for the Christian values on which the Hole family has based their life.

The motto is Veritas Fides Sapientia which is Latin and means Truth, Faith and Wisdom, which in turn is reflected in the values that the Hole family hold in the greatest esteem: The importance of always being truthful, the importance of believing in God, the importance of seeking knowledge and wisdom.

The armiger is married to Dr Anastasia Solomonova Hole, and they have two children; David Hole and Daniella Hole.
