The
arms of the family
Evenboer, assumed in
1985, are canting arms
and derived from the
hamlet Ruitenveen in the
municipality Dalfsen,
Netherlands.
The
arms of the family (von)
Padberg of Küstelberg in
Sauerland, Germany, were
granted:
Brandenburg-Preusische
Standeserhebung, Berlin,
Germany, 11th January
1876, and 14th June
1882.
These
granted arms resemble
the arms of the old
noble family von
Padtberg, extinguished
in the male line shortly
after 1945, from which
the former probably
descends. Both these
families are described
in: Genealogisches
Handbuch des Adels,
Adelslexikon Band X,
Limburg an der Lahn
1999, p. 125-126
The
Padberg arms were also
registered by the
armiger in the
Netherlands with the
Fryske Rie foar
Heraldyk, Genealogysk
Jierboek 1990, p. 153.
The crest can be
depicted in two ways:
1. an eagle’s wings with
two bars Vair, and
2. issuing from a
coronet Or five
ostrichfeathers, two Or
and three Azure.
Both arms were restyled
and assumed in 1985 by
the armiger before
registration at the
Centraal Bureau voor
Genealogie. The artwork
was done by Karel van
den Sigtenhorst.
