Arms: Quarterly:-
1st per fess, Gules a three towered castle embattled of three Or [Castilla], and Gules tierced of the second (Austria)
2nd and 3rd Bendy of six Gules and Argent (Ancient Luserne)
4th Gules, an eagle displayed Argent.
At fess point an inescucheon of Savoy; Gules, a cross Argent.

Crest:  On a wreath Or and Gules, issuing from the coronet of a Marquis a lion rampant Or

Supporters: Dexter, a stag rampant proper; Sinister; a stallion rampant proper.

Motto:  Lux in Tenebris Lucet

Grants: The Origin of the patent is in the State Archives in Turin Prince of Piedmont: 6th March 1295; Prince of Piedmont 21st December 1336; Prince of Piedmont 13th March 1378; King of France 11th May 1549; Duke of Savoy 23rd December 1418, 11th April 1490, 31st January 1498, 5th May 1505, 5th November 1516, 10th march 1574, 30th June 1581, 26 February 1597, 26th November 1572, 10th January 1603,  27th August 1676, 5th May 1617, 1683; Duke of Savoy and King of Italy 1896.

On 25th August 2005 a Vatican Court Decree confirmed recognition of the following titles: Marquis d'Angrogne, Count of Luserne, of Bobbio, of Bibiana, of Garzigliana, of Mombrone, of Villar, of San Giovanni, of La Tour.

Further Dates and Details of Grants: Royal Ministerial Decree 14th march 1896, in favour of Alexander Felix, VIII Marquis d'Angrogne, XIX Count of Luserne, of Bobbio, of Bibiana, of Garzigliana, of Mombrone, of Villar, of San Giovanni, of La Tour.

Historic State Registration: Golden Book of the Italian Nobility (Libro d'Oro della Nobiltà Italiana) pages 1003 and 1004, record no. 1426.

The original armorial bearings of the Counts de Luserne were bendy of six Gules and Argent (Ancient Luserne). The Duke of Savoy recognised the right to bear His Royal Coat of Arms (patents granted in Bruxelles on 20th June 1558); Philip II also granted patents on 20th June 1559 according the right to bear the arms of Castilla and Austria. From the XVI century to the present, the arms have been registered as in this Armorial.
