Alexandre Rubin

Registered: The International Register of Arms, 11th January 2022 Registration No. 0621 (Vol.4).

Arms: Chequy in saltire Azure and Argent, a Lion rampant counterchanged, a bordure compony Or and Purpure.

Crest: None

Motto: Ne Pas Subir.

Private Registration: Armorial de France & d'Europe; 1992 N°788. Maintenance Héraldique de France. Armorial N°17; 17th November 1992. Conseil Français d'Héraldique; Armorial 2018 N°1005 – 20th October 2018.

The Rubin family has its origin from Savoy and Burgundy in France. The lion represents strength (family of military officer) and the St Andrew’s cross is one of the Burgundian symbols, as is the bordure Or and Purpure.

The arms have been registered in the 20th century but have been in use by the family for generations and can be seen on the wall of the family’s country house in Morvan, a part of Burgundy.
