The Arms of Stephen
                                                David Young, Lord of the
                                                Manor of Waxham

The Ducal/Crest Coronets represent the Manorial Lordship held by the armiger: the white rod represents the Manorial Rod of the Courts Leet and Baron.

The two crossed soldering Irons represent the armiger’s ancient craft as a “plumbum” the Latin term for working with Lead.

Green represents the colour of Land which is the basis for all Manorial Lordships, and the blue represents water as the Manor is close to the sea.

Born in Northampton in 1961, the Armiger is Lord of the Manor of Waxham in the county of Norfolk and holds another Lordship in Buckinghamshire from where his family originates. He previously served in the British Army in the cavalry regiment 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards where the Regiment was part of the British Army of the Rhine in the then West Germany before reunification.

He is Patron of the Dorset children’s Foundation and a volunteer Director at Helping Homeless Veterans UK. The Armiger is also an Ambassador for Julia’s House Children’s hospice and Forest Holme hospice in Poole Dorset UK and the Dorset cancer Care Foundation and also a volunteer support worker at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital where he has been involved in the rollout of the Covid vaccine locally. He is also a Trustee at the Charles Rolls Heritage Trust and a Governor of a Special Educational Needs establishment supporting young adults.

The armiger is a Member of the White Lion Society [ a society of friends of the College of Arms].
