The
arms have been created
for the armiger to
display elements of his
life.
The Armiger has had a
long and distinguished
military career, serving
in the British Army in
the Royal Army
Veterinary Corps. The
colours of the RAVC are
represented in the Arms
with the crossed swords
representing his
military service.
Through marriage the
Armiger combined two
families, one Scottish
and one English. This is
represented in the
entwined Thistle and
Rose. This marriage in
2020 also created the
new hyphenated surname,
Wilson-Kean.
The armiger is also a
keen water sports
enthusiast which is
represented by the blue
and white waves at the
bottom of the arms. In
2021 he became a water
sports instructor and
hopes to continue with
this work after his
military service is
complete. To accompany
this, he also volunteers
his spare time with a
national maritime youth
charity where he teaches
both adults and children
the importance of water
safety.
