The
armiger is an American

businessman. He has been
actively employed for

refers to his wife, who
is descended from an

The armiger first
commenced research on
the Constable family
history in 1977 assisted
by Sir Peter
Gwynn-Jones, GARTER King
of Arms. Following
extensive and documented
research it has been
ascertained that the
armiger’s family is
directly descended from
Anne Plantagenet,
Duchess of Exeter (who
married Thomas St.
Leger) and is mentioned
in the Exeter volume of
Plantagenet descendants;
also descended directly
from the Manners family,
Rutland and the ancient
Barony of Ros, of
ancient Kings of
Scotland. The family is
related to the Lords
Dillon, of Ireland, as
well as a number of
politicians in the
United States and
Ireland and also to
William Constable of
Constable Hall, New
York.
