The Arms of Dr
                                                Jonas Gregorio de Souza

These arms are inspired by a combination of the arms of the two Portuguese families the armiger is descended from; the Maciel and the Morais-Sarmento families. The Maciel arms show the two fleurs-de-lis and the half eagle, whereas the Sarmento arms display the thirteen roundels Or, which have been turned into a bordure. The colours overall have been changed, with Sable and Or chosen to make the second partition similar to the Bundesadler or Federal Eagle, inspired by the fact that the armiger also has German ancestry.
